In this 60-minute hands-on workshop, participants will learn skills to aid in negotiating. This presentation includes a short role playing exercise that will help participants explore what holds them back from negotiating. As women, oftentimes we are so concerned about what people will think about us that it prevents us from asking for what we deserve. Whether it is negotiating a salary or raise, buying a car or home, negotiating an airline ticket refund or negotiating over hospital bills, the skills learned in this lesson will be skills the participants can apply to all aspects of life. This session is geared specifically toward women, and will focus on inherent barriers we bump into when faced with a negotiation opportunity.
