How have you found IIDA invaluable? IIDA has been such a great asset for my professional development. It has been a great resource for me to connect and build relationships with A&D professionals, stay up to date on the latest trends and research by attending CEUs and tours, and has allowed me to further develop my leadership skills through the position I recently took on the chapter’s board. In addition to all that, IIDA helped me with studying for the NCIDQ by organizing the Q-Prep class and connecting me with other individuals who were studying.

What book is on your nightstand? 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.

What type of design are you most passionate about? I am most passionate about Corporate Design. I love getting to know my clients and creating spaces that help them become happier, healthier and more efficient. My favorite part of the process is educating clients about the research and trends behind design concepts and stretching them out of their comfort zone to think about their space in new ways.

When needing a break from it all what helps you escape? Taking a beach vacation is the only way I can truly break away. I turn my phone off and fully disconnect with my toes in the sand, a good book and a piña colada in my hand!

What are some of your favorite design related blogs and/or mobile apps? Office Snapshots and Work Design Magazine are my current go-to’s for the latest inspiration and research.

What are the last five songs you’ve listened to? Fallin’ All In You by Shawn Mendes, Without Me by Halsey, Girl Like You by Jason Aldean, 24K Magic by Bruno Mars, Lose it by Kane Brown.
