What: Des Moines CC | Iowa Advocacy Isn't Scary! + Music Bingo

Join us for an afternoon of non-spooky advocacy updates!

Cathy Koch, VP of Advocacy, will be ready to take your ghouling questions and help damper any scaries you have about using your stamp or any other registration issues you have faced. The goal is to make sure all future and current Registered Interior Designers aren’t scared to speak about and use the bill we worked so hard to get in place. Advocacy is not Scary! Chapter Lobbyist, Cyndi Peterson, will be in attendance as well!

We would also love to celebrate any accomplishments designers have had stamping or increasing awareness in their firms as well – please reach out to Cathy (iowaadvocacy@iida-gp.org) or Drea (desmoinescitycenter@iida-gp.org) beforehand if you would like to share your story!

Following the advocacy discussion, the fun isn't over! We'll turn up the tunes and get into the Halloween spirit with Music Bingo!

Our friends from The Music Bingo People will be bringing the fun with a great and enthusiastic host, great music, and plenty of opportunities to show off your musical knowledge. Whether you're a music buff or just here for the boos and beats, you're sure to have a fang-tastic time!

We'll have some fun prizes up for grabs, so bring your competitive spirit, your best singing voice, and a little Halloween magic. You never know what songs might come hauntingly back to you!

Get ready for some music, laughs, and friendly competition. It's sure to be a spooktacular way to connect with fellow designers and celebrate our profession!
