Chapter Wide | 2026 Design Discovery Fund Application Open

The Design Discovery Fund was established in 2018 through the IIDA Great  Plains sponsorship campaign. Its mission is simple: To strengthen the chapter  by supporting its members through advanced learning within the interior  design industry.
 
Since its inception, one Great Plains chapter member has been awarded up to  $3,500 to partake in a course, conference, or design related experience of their choosing.  

 
• 2018: Katrina Stoffel, Communicating Color course taught by Leatric Eiseman
 
• 2019: Amy Dishman, USGBS Greenbuild Conference
 
• 2020: Tara Miller, Hospitality and Design Expo
 
• 2021: Jamie Eckmann, WYLD Conference West Women's Leadership Retreat
 
• 2022: Audrey Dobbe, Milano Design Week: Salone del Mobile. Milano 2023
 
• 2023: Kendra Ordia, The Biophilic Leadership Summit
 
• 2024: Amy Guhl, London Design Festival & Serpentine Pavilion Exhibition
 

Eligibility:
 
Applicant must be a current IIDA Great Plains Chapter member in good standing. Applicant must have been an IIDA member for at least 3 consecutive years. Eligible activities must pertain to education, knowledge or research  within the interior design industry, and/or professional development
