The creation of Fusion Medical Staffing headquarters represents a captivating journey to encapsulate the essence of the company's dynamic culture and visionary outlook. The organization experienced growth and found itself as a top competitor. To reinforce the newfound success, they knew the company needed to rebrand beyond a start-up, yet they wanted to preserve what made them successful. They felt their success was achieved by not doing things like others and desired an office space that was fun and joyful. The design team engaged in a collaborative process with staff to create an office environment designed to attract and retain employees. Collaborating closely with Fusion’s employees to develop the themes, their infectious energy drove the design process to ensure the space would mirror their passion. The design team’s objective was to craft a workspace to stand out and reflect Fusion's spirit. To achieve this, designers created an ethos that seamlessly integrates with the new brand identity. The design philosophy for the architecture and graphics is characterized by smooth curves, evoking a sense of fluidity and innovation, while the color palette harmoniously blends bright and vivid hues. Program elements such as the employee lounge, the Fusebox, infuses elements of fun, energy and connection amongst employees. Equipped with a golf simulator, arcade games, coffee bar and refreshments, it provides a place for sales and recruiting to host customers and recruit. Each floor showcases a distinct personality: National Parks, the TV show The Office, the board game Clue, Omaha Dive Bars, and Rivers and Lakes. These themes embody Fusion's culture, create playful elements and promote deeper connections with their workspace. Large floor-specific wall graphics throughout ensure an immersive experience. The result is a new office space that is fun and unexpected, serving as a testament to Fusion's culture and commitment to enhancing lives.
