Founded in 2021, Private Wealth Asset Management is a relatively young company making big waves in the financial industry and communities they cherish. For their Omaha location, they leased a space in a new, multi-tenant office building in the dynamic, urban Capitol District. The finished space compliments the neighboring district and indirectly showcases the high quality work their company performs. Being the first tenant lease on the floor, the entrance has a prominent position, immediately adjacent to the elevator lobby. A crafted fist-impression look captures visitors, and a material finish threshold defines the tenant’s space from the common floor. The polished concrete floor, extending from the lobby through the tenant corridor, and black steel accents throughout provide urban infusion, responsive to the neighborhood. A bold expression of segmented red oak veneer panels extends across the lobby and down the corridor. The feature element is derived from a compound wealth graph. The design move is supplemented by mirror glass, following the same repetition in key locations, like their hospitality area. Visible from the lobby, the reflection of the hospitality bar welcomes visitors to grab a beverage or cup of coffee. Private Wealth Asset Management has multiple locations, currently in four different states. A common thread between their locations is showcasing the cities in some way and incorporating shou sugi ban. The texture of the shou sugi ban placed on the signage wall outside and inside of the lobby, softens the space and defines the office space as being uniquely theirs. Additionally, their locations were integrated into the prominent veneer panels in the lobby, expressing the importance and stability of the communities they serve. The text was custom designed from the stock market ticker, and the capability to expand was incorporated into the fabrication of the wall. With a vision for hosting their clients, especially during highly attended downtown Omaha events, the long and narrow tenant space presented challenges for defining hosting spaces. The conference rooms and break room were kept close to the lobby and, stemming from the owner’s request, every office was positioned along the northern windows. The break room has an open wood scrim feature to provide a sense of privacy for the office across from it while being open for entertainment and employee use. The sleek, modern office exudes a professional atmosphere, perfectly tailored for a financial company focused on fostering long-standing partnerships and delivering results that drive financial success.
