Founded in 1999, Jet Linx’s reputation has been focused on providing exactly what their new Omaha hub provides, a personalized, first-class business experience to its many world-traveling patrons. Rebutting its reputation as “flyover country,” Omaha boasts world-class medical facilities, multiple Fortune 500 Companies, and one of the country’s fastest-growing populations. Upon outgrowing their initial facilities at Eppley Airfield, the Jet Linx looked to create a new showcase Office and Hangar hub for their Omaha-based operations. Completed summer of 2023, the 64,000 square foot Omaha Hub, with its ever-growing air traffic, was hyper-focused on the guest experience with an espresso bar, sleep rooms and lounge space for pilots and guests, and high-end restrooms. A second-floor flight planning office includes an exterior observation terrace and allows for transparent views to operations and easy access to staff. The materials chosen for the office and visitor spaces reflect a clean, modern approach, including walnut accents, polished concrete and seamless flooring, and warm-inviting furniture. The hub’s open concept fills the space with natural light and offers panoramic views of the Omaha skyline and runway. Two connecting hangars supply a combined 60,000 square feet of aircraft storage and maintenance capacity. Featuring sliding hangar doors with clear-span openings of 145’, a vehicle wash bay, natural daylighting, and the flexibility to expand into future maintenance roles, the new hangars greatly enhance the capabilities of managing aircraft at their headquarters base site. The hangars have likewise been utilized to host large-scale philanthropic community and corporate events for the company, giving guests a unique experience inside the showcase hangar space, and further increasing the flexibility of the building. The new Jet Linx Omaha hub considers comfort and beauty while maximizing its global business importance.
