What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? 

You are in charge of your own destiny; start with what makes you happy and you see yourself in that long-term. Design is where you need to be.

What might we find on your desk right now?

A Stanley with crystal light, two cell phones and one large stack of paperwork to be filed.

What’s your favorite project that you’ve worked on and why?

Residential Farmhouse in Alice, ND. The owner gave me free range of what needed to be done. As he quoted “do what you would put in your own home, I know that is what we would want”

When needing a break from it all what helps you escape?

I head to one of 3 places, ourshop, the sewing/craft room or the pool if it’s summer.
